Accepted Answer:

"The Man Who Knew Too Much" is a story written by Alexander Baron. This story is about an army cadet who is in the habit of showing off his intelligence and knowledge. Private Quelch is given the nickname 'Professor' by his coursemates. He constantly interrupts the Sergeants and the Corporals when they are teaching the cadets by talking about the topic that they are teaching. This annoys the instructors. The Professor shows off his knowledge in front of his friends also. So, irritated by his constant interruption the Private is given the cookhouse duty by the Corporal.
